I could be wrong, but I think Pheonix is the code name for the upcoming board change in the 360. Not the concept console name. Isn't the Pheonix the board with the integrated processor/video chip that is going to help drive down the cost of the 360?
The gameplay in the current one is great, now we will have the graphics too. I'm looking forward to this.
Lets just hope neither Sony OR Microsoft will ever throw in the towel. We as gamers need both companys to do well. If either company were to "give up", and quit making consoles, the gamers would suffer. There would be no competition, no reason to try and produce the best system, game, or interface.
